PA Marketing and Executive Assistant

Position: Personal assistant to MD, executive assistant and marketing campaign manager

Salary: £30,000 - £37,000 depending upon experience and qualifications

Working Hours: 0900 – 1730 Monday to Friday

Holiday: 20 days + bank holidays

Main Place of work: Colchester CO2 0JZ and Rayleigh SS6 9QG

Job Role

  • Personal assistant to the managing director.
  • Work with the practice manager to improve and oversee the administrative operations of the business.
  • Organise and manage Whirledge & Nott marketing campaigns to enhance and maintain brand consistency.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experienced personal assistant to a busy managing director
  • Expert user of business applications such as Windows 10, Office 365 applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel (currently version 2019) and advert design software
  • Expert at creating branded template documents, such as property reports
  • Accurate typist with attention to detail and audio experience
  • Knowledge of wider business applications that will improve W&N’s administrative practices
  • Experience in managing marketing campaigns via social media, such as Mailchimp, Linkedin and Twitter
  • Experience of training staff members to use business applications effectively and consistently
  • Organised, intelligent, diligent, ethical and composed
  • Courteous, presentable and confident in dealing with clients, professionals and colleagues

Specific Duties

  • Dealing with all administrative requirements of the managing director
  • Assisting the practice manager to improve the administrative operations of the business
  • Reviewing, creating and maintaining W&N branded template documents
  • Training support and professional staff to improve their business application skills (Windows 10, Office 365, Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Establishing and integrating an electronic file management system
  • Improving and maintaining our CRM systems
  • Managing the adoption and updating of a new website
  • Managing and organising effective brand enhancing marketing campaigns including regular email mail shots
  • Improving, enhancing and monitoring W&N’s online presence
  • Organising events
